PTSD Campaign (improvements coming soon)

Brief:

Create a campaign to spread awareness of PTSD and encourage sufferers to talk about the illness. 

Outcome:

I chose to manage Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I created a campaign based on the idea that the best way to help manage PTSD is to talk about having it and expressing how you feel. The concept was influenced from a quote of a sufferer describing it as an 'invisible wound'. 

The campaign, first of all, has a audio/visual screen in the middle of Waterloo station with a live stream describing what living with PTSD is like. The only way to see these messages on the screen is if people in the station start talking to the screen. 

 

Snapchat application

There will be a filter on snapchat that the screen will start off blurry and then as you start to talk during recording the screen will become clear to see your face. The user will be able to ask questions using the filter and the campaign will reply to any questions.

Mug idea

Everyone has a chat over a cup of tea or coffee, using thermochromic pigment paint, the tag line and other quotes will appear when the mug is filled with hot water.
